The majority of the video created during my most active period consisted of an improvised mix from multiple prepared sources subjected to real time effects manipulation. Very few attempts were made by me or anyone else to capture samples of the stream. Part of the utter freedom of the performance was complete lack of trace. Every stream was a gift to the sands of time. The piece, “Aureola,” uses some of the source material and effects manipulation from that period. It is a bug in amber.
“The Grackle” is an example of my set-up-the-camera-turn-it-on approach to self-documentation.
“[hands]” indicates the direction in which I now cast this kind of visualizing.
